A couple of weeks ago, this site was on page 3 of Google for the phrase 'weight loss surgery manchester' despite the fact that the phrase only appears on the site in a couple of places (although it does appear in the sponsored footer links), there is no page that has good content relevent to the phrase. The inference was that the value of ourbound link text was relatively high, however, this has now changed and the site no longer appears in the first few pages of google. The reason for this is most likely to be because of a change in the weighting of outbound links. More expermientation will be required to test this hypothesis, however there have been quite a lot of rankings changed in the last few days, so it could be a ranking update taking place. Possibly even google caffeine being rolled out.
