Google Magazine - Think Quarterly
Google have launched a new quarterly magazine called Think Quarterly. The 'marketing booklet' is written for its 1,500 parners in the UK and this month focusses on data and how to use the masses of available online data to help your business.
This is an interesting move by Google. The company is encroaching on new territory by entering the media sphere and may well find a backlash from the anti-competition legislature when it owns a massive proportion of online search, and also owns an online video outlet (youtube), a movie studio, Google TV, One Pass - a subscription based service to access news content (in direct competition with Apple), and may other online and real world media channels. If the company also produces the content on these channels they could get their legal fingers burned.
